Q
What all types of screen printing do you offer?
We offer pretty much any type of screen printing you can image. This includes standard spot color, half-tones, simulated process, 4-color CMYK process, index, but also includes water-based, discharge, and soft-hand prints. We also have the ability to imprint specialty inks like metallics, glitters, shimmers, glow-in-the-dark, reflective and various others.
Q
How long does it take for my order to be ready?
Our typical time frame for order completion is 5-7 business days but this does not include the time it takes to finalize all printing details, garment sizes and pricing which can take an additional 1-3 business days. To help expedite this process, please fill out our Request A Quote form so that we can get your order into production as soon as possible. This is, however, subject to change depending on our workflow at that time. We will notify you in advance if we will need more time than this though. Of course, rush services are available for an additional fee.
Q
Can I provide my own blanks?
Yes and no. For Screen Printing and Embroidery, yes you can provide your own blanks but there are certain restrictions to this. Contact us and we can provide all of the details. Unfortunately we can not accept customer provided apparel for DTG printing. This is because DTG does not work with all types of apparel. We have extensive knowledge in which styles work the best so we must limit it to what we know works well. This way we can ensure you will receive the highest quality product. If you are a print broker, reseller, or in the print wholesale industry, ask us about our Wholesale services to learn more about what we can offer for your business.
Q
Can you print colored tees with DTG?
Yes, we can print any color of tee with our DTG services as long as the t-shirt is 100% cotton. Some colors are only available in a blended material and we can not guarantee a good print quality with these because of this.
Q
What is DTG printing?
DTG, or Direct-To-Garment printing, is basically an over-sized inkjet printer for t-shirts. It can produce photo-realistic prints onto any color of t-shirt with bright, vivid colors. It works best on 100% cotton materials and it is not recommended for blended items or garments consisting of any other materials. DTG uses a combination of CMYK to create all colors so we can not offer exact color matches with this process.
Q
What is the maximum number of colors you can screen print?
We can actually screen print an unlimited number of colors on any color of garment but our absolute maximum number of spot colors is 10 at the moment. We have plenty of experience in taking 10 total spot colors and turning them into 20+ imprint colors with our 4-color CMYK process printing and Simulated Process printing methods. See our Portfolio for some examples!
Q
Do you have minimum order quantities for your services?
Yes, we have a minimum of 12 pieces for all of our apparel decoration processes, DTG included.
Q
Can you screen print items other than t-shirts?
Yes, we can screen print a variety of items other than t-shirts. We have experience in screen printing bags, jackets, koozies, aprons, bandannas, as well as many different materials like cotton, spandex, nylon and polyester blends. If you have questions about another specific item not listed here, Contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
Q
Do you charge setup fees or any other hidden fees?
Absolutely not. The price we quote is the price you can expect to pay when placing the order. We will never give you one price and then surprise you after the order is complete with additional hidden fees. We are also one of the only apparel screen printers that do NOT charge any setup or screen fees for custom prints as long as we are the providing the apparel. How cool is that! The lone exception to this is with Embroidery. We do charge a digitizing fee for every Embroidery order as the artwork needs to be converted to a stitch file in order to work with this process.
Q
Can I mix shirt colors and imprint colors?
Yes, you can mix shirts colors as long as the imprint colors are the same. We also offer imprint color changes but certain stipulations apply and additional cost will apply. Please contact us for a quote if this is a service you would like to utilize.
Q
Do all shirt sizes have to be the same or can I mix & match sizes?
No, all sizes do not need to be the same and you are welcome to mix sizes as needed. Please keep in mind though that youth sizes may need to be ordered separately as they usually require a smaller setup than adult sizes.
Q
Are there REALLY no setup fees?
Yes, when you order custom printed apparel from us, we never hit you with setup or screen fees. Now if you are interested in providing your own apparel to be decorated, then we do have to charge setup fees. There are also digitizing fees for embroidery for all new logos that need to be converted to a usable stitch file.
